Configuring the reporting into JIRA

Hi, I need help with Configuring the reporting into JIRA.
In Jira I created a field called "Squash Testing Status", type = Text Field single line and associated the field to my project story.
In Squash under "Reporting Fields from Squash to JIRA" , I added my new Jira field to "Testing Status:"
but for some reason I am not seeing the testing status in Jira
