Hello,
i want to change the attachment settings and extend the supported formats [like described in the installation guide 4.02].
Opened :
org.squashtest.csp.tm.web.uploadfilter.config.properties
and edited:
uploadfilter.fileExtensions.whitelist=txt, doc, xls, ppt, docx, xlsx, pptx, odt, ods, odp, pdf, jpg, jpeg, mp3, avi, png, mpg, mpeg, json, mp4, DOC, XLS, PPT, DOCX, XSLX, PPTX, ODT, ODS, ODP, PDF, JPG, JPEG, MP3, AVI, PNG, MPG, MPEG, JSON, MP4
After that I stopped the application over the console (by typing "stop 0") and started it again with the squash-tm launcher. Tried an upload and still getting the message that the format is not supported (for example: picture.png).
Any idea?
Do I need to delete the files in the felix-cache?
Restart the whole windows server?
Thanks in Advance.
Best regards.

Our installation is on a Apache 2 server.
Did you manage to fix it?
Someone please respond.

Hi msr.
We managed to resolve the problem.
The felix-cache folder was not deleted after saving changes to the whitelist.
Delete the folder /var/cache/squash-tm/felix-cache and restart the SquashTM.
Other suggestions from the Squash Team:
When a user cannot upload atachments, it's usually caused by :
* attachment size is larger than the limit configured in squash tm
* attachment size is larger than the limit configured in mysql
* config file was changed and `squash-tm/felix-cache` folder was not deleted
before squash is restarted.
Hi,
It may be trivial to say but, you have to destroy the cache having squashTM shutted down before.
Else, you could experiment some trouble.
