How to install SQUASH-TM ?

Hi all,
This is my first post, please excuse my lack of knowledge.
I've downloaded the squash-tm-1.12.2.RELEASE-installer.jar file and the squash-tm-1.12.2.RELEASE.zip but I have not found in any of these files an "install" script or wizard.
So I'm unable to install the software on my PC.
What have I missed or what should I do to correctly install Squash TM (and Squash TA later)?
Thank you for your help.
Regards
Bernard

Hi,
To install Squash on a windows environnement, you have 2 choices :
1/ Download the .zip, unzip it and your install is done ! (after you can configure your database if you want, see our wiki for this)
or
2/ Download the .jar, execute it with java : an installer will guide you through the installation. Again, you have to configure your database after if you want.

I did as you suggested, and it seems the only version of Java I can get is the current one (i.e. version 8 update 71, build 1.8.0_71-b15).
I believe that this is not the correct JVM version.
Where can I download the correct JVM 1.7 version ?

Bonjour,
