Can one define a default script format?

Greetings.
I am using the English client of Squash, Version 3.0.2.RELEASE.
Most of the test scripts we use in house are in Gherkin format. Is there a way to make Squash select Gherkin as the default script instead of Classic? Better yet, is there a per-project way to define what the default test script format should be?
