Test case search based on steps content

Hello,

I would like to ask if there is a functionality in Squash that allows searching for test cases based on the content written in the steps (step descriptions). For example, if I want to find all test cases where a specific action or keyword is mentioned in the steps, is it possible to do that directly through the search function?

Additionally, is there perhaps an API description or documentation available that would allow performing such a search programmatically?

Currently, such a search is not possible, but we have a feature request ticket for this on our public GitLab: https://gitlab.com/henixdevelopment/op ... issues/222

However, we do not have a release date to announce at this time.
Unfortunately, there is also no search of this type available via the API, which requires you to search by test_step ID rather than content.

thank you for clarifying this, Xavier. It’s good to know there’s already a feature request open on GitLab.
In the meantime, have you seen any practical workarounds for searching by step content? For example,poor bunny exporting test cases to a report and then performing a text search externally? I’m wondering what other users are doing until this feature becomes available.
